Paul Fricano opened Fricano’s Deli August of 2006 at the corner of 31st Street and Speedway, just north of the UT campus. He opened with the idea to serve good food prepared fresh each day with a neighborhood feel and an emphasis on customer service. Business began to build immediately and continued to grow at a steady pace. After the first year it seemed clear that Paul would need some help. Paul formed a partnership with DeeAnne Bullard and Jamil Muhaisen who moved from Brooklyn, New York, enthusiastic at the opportunity to join this growing business.
